Dozens of area businesses looking to hire

LA FERIA – If you would like to start earning some money in time for the holidays, attend the 2nd Annual La Feria Job Fair. The La Feria Job Fair takes place Thursday, Oct. 22 from 1-5 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of La Feria.
Whether it is full-time, part-time or seasonal work, job seekers can connect with dozens of employers at the fair — and many employers will conduct on-site interviews. Employers in all fields will be in attendance, including La Feria Independent School District, Levi’s Outlet, Buffalo Wild Wings, Texas Department of Public Safety, Dish Network, Courtyard Marriott and Bee First Primary Home Care.
Internet-ready computers will be available at the job fair so applicants can immediately fill out and submit their online applications.

The La Feria Job Fair is free to both job seekers and employers. Employers who wish to participate in the job fair should contact the coordinator at (956) 454-1610 by Oct. 9.
Job seekers who do not have transportation to the event can ride Valley Metro for free that day. Riders should call Valley Metro at 1-800-574-8322 for the route and schedule to La Feria.
The Methodist church is located at 331 Main St. It sits next to Tiny Town park and across from the La Feria public library.
