Summer Job Fair to Take Place June 10th

Several local area businesses to look for prospective employees in the La Feria community

LA FERIA – If you you or someone you know is looking for a job or a change in career, attend the La Feria Chamber of Commerce Spring Job Fair. The Job Fair will take place Saturday, June 10th from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the La Feria Dome located at 1001 Pancho Maples Drive, south of the Veterans Memorial Park/Sports Complex, in La Feria.

Whether it is full-time, part-time or seasonal work, job seekers can connect with dozens of employers at the fair.

Many employers will conduct on-site interviews, so prospective applicants are asked to come professionally dressed and have their resume ready.

Employers in several fields will be in attendance. Past job fairs have included La Feria Independent School District, UTRGV, Whataburger, Primerica Financial, Dairy Queen, Our Lady of the Lake University, ACT Call Center, Dish Network, Valley Metro, Job Corp, Cricket and many more.

Workforce Solutions of Cameron County will offering free computer and internet access during the job fair so that applicants can immediately fill out and submit their online applications.

Free child care will be available on site as well.
