The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony held for Cricket Wireless at their remodeled and up-graded business location on north Main street gave the city an opportunity to meet and greet the new ownership and management people. The event was sponsored and supervised by the La Feria Chamber of Commerce.
Cricket Wireless is the authorized retail division of Optimal Wireless. The nationwide company itself was launched 10 years ago, and has been in La Feria since 2013.

Prescilla Saldivar, the new store manager, spoke with LA FERIA NEWS about the new expanded services and what it will mean for our citizens. She said, “Cricket Wireless can now offer 98% nationwide coverage, along with unlimited talk and text services.”
“Many of our customers like out unlimited browsing services in Mexico.” she said. “We are a company that specializes in individuals and their family needs Big families with elderly members needing constant care especially like us as we have a program to train elders in how to use the internet wireless services we offer. We train elders to use their devices at no additional charge.”
