2013 RGV Livestock Show Cover Girl Crowned

MERCEDES – The 2013 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show Cover Girl and her court were chosen from a field of 28 ladies in a closely contested competition in front of a standing room only audience.
Savanah Callier was crowned as the 2013 Cover Girl. She represents Harlingen South FFA. She’s the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Callier.
The 2013 Cover Girl will be fulfilling a long list of duties and obligations at the 2012 Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo. She’ll attend the judging of animals and rodeo events, as well as the sale of champions.
Along with a tiara and trophy, Callier won a $1,500 scholarship. The court was also named:

Some of the overall segments covered in the judging included points awarded for demonstrating expertise in several areas including interview skills, costume appropriateness, beauty and figure, poise and personality and past stock show participation.
