A Visit from Jungle Jim
- Updated: April 8, 2013
David Sanchez Elementary celebrated Library Lovers Month by inviting Jungle Jim to visit our campus. The students were fascinated with the butterfly and insect displays including Jungle Jim’s Millepede which is 15.2 inches and has 256 legs. This Millipede is in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the largest of its kind.
Jungle Jim also brought live animals from the amphibian, reptile and arthropod families. Mrs. Gorena’s class above enjoyed the show and were willing to take a picture with one of Jungle Jim’s snakes.
