Life-Long Friends Celebrate Birthdays Together
- Updated: May 27, 2013
“A Century of Memories Shared”
When Magdalena Zavaleta and Fidela Gavito Trevino decided to celebrate their birthdays together, it was not going to be any ordinary event. You see, Magdalena completed 100 years of life this month– her friend, Fidela, just a mere 95 years of age.
“Tia Lala”, as her friends call her, made it a double ceremony when her life-long pal, Magdalena of Brownsville, attended her celebration in La Feria last week. Fidela had already attended her friend’s party in Brownsville just a week earlier.
These two ladies are inseparable “best friends forever“ and cherish their century of friendship. They are already making plans for next year’s party.
