- Updated: July 5, 2013
City Officials and Dignitaries attend Celebration
La Feria Mayor Steve Brewer, Judge Mike Trejo, along with many of their staff members joined an enthusiastic crowd of well-wishers to welcome the Sun Loan Company to La Feria. The mayor said, “We are happy to have this new business in downtown La Feria. It will be an asset to our community as it serves the needs of our people.”
The Grand Opening of this new office across from the City Hall was celebrated in style. After the official ribbon-cutting event, the guests were invited inside for food, fun, and a live radio remote and giveaways. The guests were invited to sign up for a raffle for a free 32” flat screen TV. To get things moving among, the Sun Loan guests were regaled by the antics of costumed “SUNNY” and Friends. Many delighted guests had their pictures taken with the Sun Loan mascot.
Brenda Blanco, Area Supervisor from Raymondville; Adriana Vega, Floating Manager; Lidia Hernandez, La Feria Office Manager; Jose Sanchez, La Feria Assistant Manager, all expressed appreciation for the turnout and official welcome by the city.
