The third annual Lion Football Camp concluded Thursday July 24th. The four- day camp saw forty-five, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders learning skills and technique for the upcoming football season. The purpose of the camp was to teach tackling, blocking and agility drills to the young Lions in order to prepare them for the teams season. The camp was broken up into offensive and defensive sessions with a little bit of fun mixed in. Special thanks goes out to The Neighborhood Doctor for the donation of the camp t-shirts.
First day of regular football practice is set for August 5, with the teams first scrimmage away at Falfurrias on August 16.
