The Harlingen Christian Academy recently challenged local businesses – including the LongHorn Steakhouse in Harlingen – to collect enough food to feed 100 families for Thanksgiving through the “Challenge 100.” Restaurant employees and other volunteers recently gathered at the Academy to assemble 100 Thanksgiving packages for families in need – helping to feed approximately 600 people in the community. The food was then hand-delivered to 100 families throughout the Harlingen community.
