LA FERIA TYFA FLAG FOOTBALL TEAM STATE CHAMPIONS

After winning the State semi-finals against the Gervin Jr. Hurricanes on December 7, 2013 , The La Feria TYFA Flag Football team made it to the State Finals in Cypress, Tx (Houston). On Sunday, December 15th , The Lions had to play against the San Antonio Cornerstone Warriors for the State title, and boy did they put up a fight. It was tied most of the game, until the Lions came back in the second half of the game. The Lions had to change their game plans and work together in order to come out victorious. In the end the Lions came out on top with a final score of 40-32. The Lions were then presented with their trophies and walked out of Berry Center Stadium STATE CHAMPIONS!
