After receiving straight “1’s” at the annual Pigskin Competition this year, the La Feria High School marching band advanced to the AREA competition in Corpus Christi and qualified to compete at the 2014 State Marching Competition. The competition was held at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The La Feria High School Marching Band travelled to San Antonio on Monday, November 3, 2014 and although they didn’t qualify for the finals, we’re extremely proud of our Mighty Lion Band! This year marks the first time in the history of La Feria High School that the band has reached the state level. Great job, band!
The 2014-2015 La Feria High School Marching Band is lead by Band Director Eddie Benitez. Special thanks should be given to the LFHS Band Boosters and the City of La Feria for all the support paving the way to our students’ success.
