Harlingen Chamber Welcomes New Board Chair

New Harlingen Chamber Board Chair Frank Espinoza.
HARLINGEN, Texas—The Harlingen Area Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors will begin a new year under the leadership of Chamber Board Chair and Manager of Community Affairs for AEP Texas, Frank Espinoza.
The Immediate Past Chamber Board Chair, Dr. Linda T. Burke of Burke Children’s Dentistry, passed the torch to Frank Espinoza at the Chamber’s Roaring Twenties Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, October 23.
Chamber Board Members, Brenda Ivory, CEO of Harlingen Medical Center, and Matt Stone, COO of Valley Baptist Health System, were reappointed to the Board. The Chamber also welcomed Rick Ledesma, founder and CEO of DataLogic Software, Inc. to the Chamber Board.
Ledesma served as Chairman of the Valley International Airport Board in 2009 and Chairman of the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation in 2012 and 2013.
Executive Directors on the Chamber Board include: Immediate Past Chair—Dr. Linda T. Burke of Burke Children’s Dentistry; Chair-Elect—Ricky Leal of First Community Bank; Secretary—Michael Allex of Rike, Ogden, Figueroa, Allex Architects, Inc. and Treasurer—Lyle Garza of the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation.
Directors of the Chamber Board include: Carlos Cuellar; Rick Ledesma; Josh Fields; Lupe Gonzales; Brenda Ivory; Matt Stone and Sue Ann Taubert.
