La Feria American Legion #439 Post and Auxiliary Activities
The La Feria American Legion #439 Post and Auxiliary welcome back their Winter Texan friends and have begun starting special meals and activities.
The annual Veteran’s Day celebration will be held on November 11 with a breakfast served from 7 -10:30 a.m. Veterans are free and non-veterans are $5.00. A patriotic program will begin at 11 a.m.
The Ladies’ Auxiliary will begin the Spaghetti Dinner with a great salad bar on November 1 from 4:30-7 p.m. with music and dancing.
The Post will start serving their pork chop dinner on Wednesday, November 5 from 4:30-7 p.m. with music and dancing and the Fish Dinner start Friday night, November 7 at the same times and with plenty of music and dancing.
Chicken Fried Chicken prepared by the Sons of American Legion will start on November 15 from 4:30-7 p.m. with karaoke until 9 p.m. There will be music on Tuesdays 3-6 p.m.
The Post and Auxiliary meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited to join in the food and fun. Those wanted to join the Legion or Auxiliary may inquire with the bartender about how to join the organization.
