Annual Tree Lighting Celebration a Shining Success

Despite the cold weather, the annual Lighting of the Tree Celebration in La Feria went on as planned on the evening of November 13, 2014
There were performances by students from Sam Houston Elementary, David G. Sanchez Elementary, C.E. Vail Elementary, and Noemi Dominguez Elementary.
There were also performances from Girl Scout Troop 356 and the W.B. Green Jr. High and La Feria High School Choirs. The First Baptist Church Choir presented some special music, as did the W.B. Green Jr. High School Band.
The La Feria High School Ballet Folklorico also performed.
At the end of the night, Santa Claus handed out goody bags to all in attendence.
