- Updated: December 26, 2014
Residents from La Feria and the surrounding area gathered once again on the evening of Saturday, December 13th, for the 16th Annual City of La Feria Lighted Parade.
The parade as bright as ever with Christmas lights, floats, marchers and music to entertain the gathered crowd.
Dontatello of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Elmo from Sesame Street and Jerry the Jaguar, the South Texas College mascot, also paid the parade a visit this year to the delight of all the children in attendance.
Participants in the marching and float competitions were competing for big cash prizes and a group of four judges picked the winners.
At the end of the parade route, residents enjoyed carnival rides, games, and live entertainment at the La Feria High School campus.
