- Updated: April 17, 2015
Cameron County clerk Sylvia Garza-Perez hosted La Feria Community Day at 108 S. Main Street (The Chaparral Building) from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, April 8th.
Representatives from the Cameron County Clerk’s Office, Justice of the Peace Mike Trejo’s office, the Cameron County Health Department, Cameron County Veterans Services Office and the Cameron County Bar Association were present to offer information on services and programs open to the community. Many of the presenters had giftbags, calendars and other items for visitors. The city provided coffee and sweet bread.
Though modestly attended, Garza-Perez hopes to hold another community day in the near future.
