Chamber/City Spring Job Fair a Success

The La Feria Chamber of Commerce and the La Feria Industrial Development Corporation hosted a Spring Job Fair on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event was originally scheduled to be held at 108 S. Main St. but had to be relocated to the La Feria Recreational Center after a weekend storm caused severe damage to the site originally slated to host the event.
Over 20 area employers were on hand to review resumes and provide employment information.

The Workforce Solutions Cameron County Computer Lab was on site and free computer and internet access was available for job applications.
