Little Lions Learning Center in La Feria hosted a free event Friday, July 31st. A mobile dairy classroom, complete with real cow and milking parlor, from Southwest Dairy Farms was on-site with a presentation for the children, staff, parents and La Feria residents.
Southwest Diary Farms’ Mobile Diary Classrooms travel to schools, livestock shows, fairs and other special events throughout the Southwest providing information about milk production, the history of milking and the importance of milk in a daily diet.
