UTRGV Offers Paralegal Certificate in Fall

The first cohort of the Paralegal Certificate Program celebrated the completion of the program July 17 at the UTRGV McAllen Teaching Site. The program will be available in Fall 2015 at UTRGV Continuing Education.
With the upcoming fall semester, the Office of Continuing Education at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley this fall will offer the Paralegal Certificate Program designed for beginning and advanced legal workers, as well as prospective law students.
The program, which begins Sept. 19 and runs through Dec. 19, provides an overview of the legal system, legal research and writing, civil procedure, ethics and criminal law, as well as digital marketing, wedding and event planning, grant writing, and health care-related fields.
Classes will be held every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the UTRGV McAllen Teaching Site, 1800 S. Main Street, Suite 1100.
