The Holidays Have Arrived in La Feria
- Updated: November 27, 2015
Annual Tree Lighting Marks the Beginning of the Holiday Season
Although the day was overcast and dismal, that did not deter La Feria residents in gathering in front of La Feria City Hall for the annual Lighting of the Tree event held on Thursday, November 12th, this year by the City of La Feria.
Various student organizations came to perform and sing Christmas carols on a temporary stage set up for this year’s ceremony.
Community members were invited to bring ornaments to hang on the community tree this year.
Finally, Santa once again made an appearance at the end of the program to the delight of those that attended.
