VIP Welcomes Back Winter Texans in Annual Welcome Party

The Annual Welcome Party was held at VIP La Feria RV Park on Thursday, October 29th, 2015 to welcome all new and returning residents and staff who arrive early in the season. The residents had the opportunity to roast their own hot dogs, win great prizes donated by area businesses and others. They had a good time catching up with their friends and getting acquainted with the new arrivals to our park. It is an annual event where the residents are encouraged to wear costumes or work attire from days gone by. Walgreens from West Tyler in Harlingen donated all of the bottled water for the event. La Feria businesses participating were State Farm Insurance, John Ftacek; O’Reilly’s Auto Parts; Dairy Queen, and Whataburger. Chick-Fil-a of Harlingen and Tom’s Automotive from Weslaco also provided gifts for the event.
