Annual Holiday Toy Give-Away Brings Smiles Again This Year
- Updated: January 6, 2016
This Christmas on a chilly Saturday, December 19th, 715 children got a toy for Christmas, as well as hotdogs and soft drinks.
Once again El Centro Foods, the La Feria Lions Club, Valley Entertainment and All Valley Communications held their annual Christmas Toy Give-Away. As in years past, Santa was there as every child was given their choice of any toy from the tables stacked high with donated boxed new toys.
This year in addition to the Lions working at the event, they were also greatly helped by the new
Leo’s Club from La Feria High School. The Leo’s are a service organization for high school students and are sponsored by the La Feria Lions Club. Thanks go out to this truly fine group of future citizens.
