City Seeks Volunteers and Sponsors for Youth Basketball Program

The city of La Feria is on its 8th year of youth basketball for boys and girls ages 5-12 years old. They are playing every Saturday at W.B. Green Junior High. First games start at 9 a.m. through 9 p.m. There will be 24 games. All volunteer coaches are graciously donating their spare time preparing the players for game day. Coaches are teaching the players fundamentals as well as good sportsmanship. The city is looking for sponsors and volunteers.
