VIP-La Feria Awarded Park of the Year

The Texas Recreational Vehicle Association (TRVA) held their annual convention in Austin August 12-15, 2016. One of the highlights of the convention is always naming “Park of the Year” winners for small, medium and large RV parks who are members of TRVA throughout the state of Texas. This year’s winner for Medium size parks, which have 201 to 500 RV sites, was VIP La Feria RV Park.
The awards are based on Customer Service/ Reviews; Association involvement; Park promotion; Management Skills and relationships, Community Service; Park Growth and Innovations; and Visual appeal of the park and upkeep. Each park must submit three copies of their entry with supporting documentation which may include, but is not limited to, photos, newspaper clippings, letters of recommendation or commendation, user reviews, customer testimonials and any other information the park(s) think would be of benefit.
John & Ruth Dearinger are the managers of VIP La Feria RV Park. This is the third time the park has won this distinguished award. They were also named Park of the Year for medium size parks in 2013 and 2014.
