Serve Our Schools a Success Once Again
- Updated: October 28, 2016
The annual Serve Our Schools project sponsored by the First United Methodist Church occurred on September 17th at W.B. Green Junior High.
37 volunteers helped construct and install 22 bulletin boards for the hallways.
FUMC would like to express their thanks to the W.B. Green Student Council and the La Feria High School National Honor Society members who volunteered their time as well as John Ftacek of State Farm and the El Valle District of the United Methodist Church for their continued support.
Also, FUMC has partnered with First Baptist Church and New Hope Presbyterian Church to provide tennis shoes, socks, and underwear to the school nurses on 4 campuses.
“It is our blessing to be God’s hands and feet in our community of La Feria in these ways.”
