Dominguez, Sanchez Team Up with Lion’s Club to Collect Holiday Food Donations

La Feria’s Lion’s Club enlisted the help of some young, energetic volunteers for their annual Holiday Food Drive. The Lion’s Club sponsored students from Noemi Dominguez Elementary and David G. Sanchez Elementary schools for this year’s food drive.
The students collected over 2,000 canned goods over the course of the drive.
The donations were then taken over to the food bank at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in La Feria.
Not to be outdone, here’s Sanchez Elementary’s collected donations to this year’s food drive.
