The Holidays Have Arrived in La Feria

With the arrival of the Holiday season so too have the announcement of the winners of the annual City of La Feria decorating contest!

Each year the City of La Feria and the La Feria Events Committee sponsor several decorating contests during the holiday season.

2nd place in Home Decorating Category – 26517 Palomino Ave

These contests include the Business Window Decorating Contest, the Home & Yard Decorating Contest and the Winter Visitor Park Decorating Contest. Contestants are asked to register by a certain date to be eligible to participate in the yearly competitions.

Our Lady of the Lake University took first place in the Business division of the city sponsored Decorating Contest this year with their Three Kings inspired Holiday decorations.

VIP RV Park once again dominated in the Winter Visitor Park decorating competition this year.

The winners of the Home & Yard decorating contest are 1st place – 409 West Magnolia Ave, 2nd place – 26517 Palomino Ave, and 3rd place – 26676 Palomino Ave.

Winners of the Winter Visitor Parks are 1st place – VIP RV Park, 2nd place – La Feria RV Park, 3rd place – Yellow Rose RV Park.

La Feria area Business winners of this year’s decorating contest are 1st place – Our Lady of the Lake University, 2nd place – Tonie’s Flower Shop and 3rd place – JC Wing Co.

The City of La Feria would like to thank all tue participants in this year’s contest. Your participation in this annual event helps convey the spirit of the holiday season for our community and its visitors, making the season a little brighter for everyone!
