Students from Noemi Dominguez Elementary travelled to Clute, Texas for an Invitational Science Olympiad competition during the weekend of January 21st.
Fifth and sixth grade students competed in several Science and Engineering categories. From bottle rockets to tower building, the students had their hands full with many exciting events in this middle school competition.
Getting ready for the Regional meet is not easy, but it is fun.
One student, Omar Moreno, added, “I really loved all my competitions. I will always remember today.”
“The thing I always look forward to is working on my Science Olympiad projects at the end of the day,” said Alaina Castillo.
“The students worked very hard and are very dedicated,” continued Mrs. Colson, Science Olympiad Coach
