Congratulations to both the La Feria High School Boys and Girls Varsity Soccer teams. Both teams managed to come out on top of their game and claim the District and Bi-District titles again this year.
Thank you so much for representing your community and playing your best.
At press time the boys soccer team were going up against the Zapata Hawks in Zapata, TX as part of the Bi-District Playoff. La Feria won that game 3-1 and now face Somerset at Shirley Field in Laredo for the Boys Soccer 4A Area Playoff.

Not to be outdone, the Lionettes Varsity Girls Soccer team clinched the 2017 District 32-4A title with a score of 1-0 against IDEA Frontier Thunderbolts on Thursday, March 9th. The only goal was made by Zoe Medeles. Photo: LFCISD/La Feria Lionettes Soccer Facebook Community Page
The girl’s soccer team faced the IDEA Quest Trailblazers at Boggus Stadium in Harlingen this past Saturday, March 25th and won 3-0. Lionettes play in Alice today at 5pm against Rockport Fulton.
