Annual Emergency Preparedness Exercise Provides Free Health Screenings to Community

Operation Lone Star (OLS) is an emergency preparedness exercise to help us get ready for disasters and it’s coming to south Texas next week starting on Monday July 24th.
OLS brings FREE medical services to communities with help from hundreds of local service groups and volunteers.
Some of the services provided are: Immunizations for children; Diabetic screening; Blood pressure screening; Hearing and vision screenings; and Sports physicals.
OLS will be in La Feria at La Feria High School, 901 North Canal St., in La Feria, on Monday, July 24 – Thursday, July 27, 8:00 – 4:00, and on Friday, July 28, 8:00 – 2:00.
