The City of La Feria held its annual Independence Day Celebration on July 1, 2017 at Veterans Memorial Park at 904 Pancho Maples Dr. in La Feria.
In its eleventh year, the Celebration boasted mainstays like the recognition ceremony for our local military veterans, vendors, train rides, water slides, live music, the watermelon eating contest (sponsored by the La Feria Chamber of Commerce), and fireworks at the end of the celebration.
