La Feria Chamber of Commerce to Host Internal Controls Seminar

LA FERIA, Texas – The La Feria Chamber of Commerce has announced that they will be hosting a seminar on Internal Controls for Small and Large Businesses on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

The seminar will be held at the Our Lady of the Lake University – Rio Grande Valley Campus located at 1650 S. Main Street in La Feria.

The Internal Controls Seminar will be presented by Lizandro Garcia, CPA with Burton, McCumber, & Cortez, LLP. Cost of the seminar is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Reservations must be made with payment. Refreshments will be provided.

The La Feria Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization of the business community. It unites business and professional individuals and firms creating a central agency which lends itself to improving business and building a better community.

Although members are predominantly part of the business community, there is a place in the Chamber for all who share the desire to improve the community and get involved.

The Chamber hosts informational seminars several times throughout the year providing valuable information to businesses in the local community.
