La Feria Methodist church to host Strawberry Shortcake Sunday Aug. 27
LA FERIA, Texas – First United Methodist Church of La Feria will host Strawberry Shortcake Sunday on Sunday, August 27 from 11 a.m. to noon.
Guests can purchase southern (or “suthin’”) strawberry shortcakes made with honeybutter drop biscuits, fresh strawberries in natural strawberry juices and homemade whipped cream. The strawberry shortcakes will sell for $3, and proceeds will fund the mission projects of the United Methodist Women.
FUMC-La Feria is located at 330 S. Main St., next to Tiny Town Park. Delivery is available for orders of 4 or more. For more information or to place an order, call (956) 454-1610 or 245-5742.
