Harlingen Lions & Charlie Clark Nissan partner to support Loaves & Fishes
HARLINGEN, Texas – This September, the Harlingen-area Lions will partner with Charlie Clark Nissan for the “Fill the Truck to Feed the Hungry” event.
From Sept. 5-16, the Lions are asking the community to fill up a 2017 Nissan Titan located at Charlie Clark Nissan with non-perishable food items. All the food that is collected will be donated to Loaves & Fishes, a non-profit organization that provides meals for homeless and food insecure people. The food may be dropped any time between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
For anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, bring in at least five food items and Charlie Clark Nissan will take $100 off the price of any vehicle.
Charlie Clark Nissan is located at 3500 W. Expwy. 83 in Harlingen, off the Lewis Lane exit. Lions Clubs International is a 100-year-old, non-profit service organization dedicated to helping people in its community and around the world.
