Lions Suffer Tough Loss

After coming off an impressive 42 – 0 victory over the Falfurrias Jerseys the week before, the Lions fell to a very tough Corpus Christ Veterans Memorial team.
C.C. Vets Memorial outscored the Lions 55 – 14 and remains undefeated for the season while the Lions drop to 1 – 2.
The Lions will now move on to rival Port Isabel in their next contest. At press time the Lions are set to hit the road to Port Isabel on Friday, September 22 in hopes of getting back on the winning track. ROLL PRIDE!
