The community once again gathered at the intersection of Main Street and Commercial Avenue in La Feria, Texas on Thursday night, November 16th.
Now in its eleventh year, the annual celebration traditionally marks the beginning of the holiday season for the city and its residents. The gathering featured performances by the La Feria High School Choir as well as the LFHS Ballet Folklorico.
Residents took pictures with Santa and added their own ornaments to the community tree to celebrate the beginning of the season.
As the Holiday Season continues, please remember to help spread the joy and cheer of the yuletide and be a little kinder to your fellow man. Happy Holidays!

An annual tradition, community members bring ornaments to hang on the community tree at the lighting. These young ladies add a custom ornament from a local car club to the tree’s branches at this year’s ceremony. Photo: Street Technique Car & Truck Club/Facebook
