LFPD Distributes Toys to Community Children
On Friday, December 22nd, local area families visited the La Feria Police Department where toys were distributed to area children as part of the 2nd Annual Operation Blue Star.
Operation Blue Star is Chief Cesar Diaz’s way of continuing the 15 year tradition of former police chief Donato Garcia, originally dubbed Operation Smile.
This year over 1,300 toys were distributed to community children with the help of community volunteers, including the La Feria Fire Department as well as Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and the Grinch!
