Lion Golf Team Takes First at Progreso Invitational

The Lion golf team opened their Spring season roaring past the other 4A and 3A teams. The Lions scored a 320 team total with the next closest team shooting in the low 400’s. Andy Cortez led the Lions with a score of 70, shooting two below par 72. The Lions hope to stay on a hot streak as the spring season rolls on leading to the District 4A tournament on April 2nd which will be held at Tony Butler golf course in Harlingen.
