Our Lady of the Lake University is starting a new year and enrollment at the school for higher education is up.
Forty five new students have registered for this upcoming semester, bringing its population closer to the 200 mark.
Patricia Blanco, the university director, said the increase in enrollment is across all programs.
Our Lady of the Lake University offers a number of degrees, including bachelors, masters and doctoral.
The university reached a milestone this past May by graduating 36 students, making the highest number since the San Antonio-based school opened a campus in the Rio Grande Valley 10 years ago.
The Our Lady of the Lake University-RGV campus is located at 505 N. Villarreal, La Feria, Texas 78559.
