Place 4 Candidates
Lisa Ayala Montalvo
Hello, my name is Lisa Ayala Montalvo. I am running for Re-Election for Place 4 on the LFISD Board of Trustees.
I am honored to currently serve on the LFISD School Board. In my four years while serving, we expanded our academic programs and extracurricular activities, purchased additional computers for teachers and students, added more safety measures to each campus, improved and maintained our facilities, deposited an estimated 1.8 million dollars into our fund balance, gave raises and/or stipends to all district employees, expanded our certification programs, returned our Special Education program to our campuses, and earned 22 distinctions across the district.
These are a few of the amazing things we have accomplished.
I will continue to work hard for ALL our children. I have the experience, determination, and courage to keep pushing our district to the next level of excellence.
Our students deserve a world- class quality education.
My dad, Daniel Ayala, would always say, “A good education will make you an asset”.
I humbly ask you, my community, for your vote, thank you.

I’m married to Ramiro Aleman, have four children and five grandchildren. I’m a life long member of St. Francis Xavier Church. I retired as a Parental Liaison after 31 years at La Feria ISD. For the past seven years, I have been a local organizer of Turkey dinner giveaways and a member of the Live Long Blood Drive and Scholarship.
I’m also an active parent volunteer for the La Feria schools. I would like to continue my journey as a public servant and appreciate your support.

As a La Feria native, I am proud to have watched my children grow and learn, and still continue to walk the halls, in this exceptional district.
If re-elected, I promise to be your voice on the board and keep our students first, when making decisions. I plan to work diligently to provide the schools all the tools needed to ensure continued success for ALL our students.
I would like to thank the community for their support throughout these years and would appreciate your continued support in serving the students and families of our district. Thank you and May God Bless!
Gloria Santillan Casas
We chose La Feria, 41 years ago, as the best community to live and raise our children because of its high- quality education. Our 4 children are LFISD graduates and complete and productive adults and professionals. I gave back to my community ensuring other families the opportunity to raise and education their children, by serving on the LFISD School Board 22 years. I worked many difficult and long hours to maintain a high- quality education for all our children.
Having retired from management positions for organizations whose mission was to empower individuals and families to build productive and self-sustaining capacity, I want to continue to work for my community and school district. My professional experience and previous school board service give me the required qualifications.
Educating our children is one of the most important duties of parents and the community. Our children are indeed our future! I pledge to always work hard and smart for the best education your children deserve.
Maria N. Rincon
