Four Incumbents with Santa Maria School District Retake Their Seats

The four incumbents who ran unopposed in the Nov. 6 election for their respective seats on the board of trustees of the Santa Maria Independent School District took the oath of office
They are Consuelo De la Rosa, Rambaldo Rivera, Oralia Ortiz and Miguel Zavala, each of whom won terms of three
more years in office.
Ortiz is the board’s vice president while Zavala is the board’s secretary.
De la Rosa and Rivera are board members.
The four, along with Adolfo Hinojosa, Noe Aleman and Jose F. ‘Frankie” Gonzales Jr., formed the district board of trustees.
The district has a population or about 700 students and is headed by Superintendent Martin Cuellar.
