Lionettes Back at Area Round

KINGSVILLE – The La Feria Lionettes went to work in their bi-district championship game against Ingleside’s Lady Mustangs.
The Lionettes swept the Lady Mustangs 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-18) at Kingsville King High School on Tuesday night, October 30th.
The win advances the Lionettes back to the area round, where last year the team lost a heartbreaker to Somerset in five games.
With a large group of seniors and a load of experience, the Lionettes hope to erase recent years’ second round exits and make history rolling into the regional quarterfinals, a spot where La Feria volleyball hasn’t been in recent memory.
