American Legion Auxiliary Unit 439 Awards Scholarships to Nursing Graduates

On Monday December 10th, the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 439, recently awarded scholarships to two graduates from the Valley Baptist School of Vocational Nursing: Melissa Ybarra-DeCorte and Deehanira Galarza.
The scholarship will help them continue on with their nursing degrees.
Since 1919, members of the American Legion and their affiliated groups have remained committed to their community, state and nation through volunteer service. The scholarship is offered in recognition of the ongoing need for qualified nursing personnel in our Valley community.
