Antique Auto Club Gives Big to Local Food Bank

The Rio Grande Valley branch of the Antique Auto Club of America (AACA) collected $691 in cash as well as food items from entrants during the Fiesta de La Feria Car Show which was held on Saturday, February 16, 2019. At the City Commission meeting which was held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, the AACA presented the money, boxes and bags of both canned foods and boxed foods as a donation to the local RGV Food Bank which is located at St. Francis Xavier Church, 502 S. Canal St. here in La Feria. A
ACA members which included Flavio Escobar, Bill Hiriak, Moses Mendoza Jr., and Rene Martinez also presented the City of La Feria with a plaque during the commission meeting thanking the City for their continued support of the Fiesta de La Feria Car Show.
