La Feria residents should be seeing an improvement in sewer and water services now that the city has completed a major project as part of its commitment to improve the quality of life of the population.
Under a $7 million package provided by the Texas Water Development Board Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, the city has made its final payment to Cornett Construction for the West Colonias Project.
During a previous meeting, the city council approved making a final payment of $52,500 to the Brownsville-based company.
