New Playing Surface to Inspire Team and Community

Lions Stadium will be featuring a new field playing surface and track this season. With La Feria achieving a playoff run last season and the fields played on were artificial turf a discussion began about upgrading the playing surface since La Feria was one of the few if not the only schools not to play on artificial turf in past seasons. The consensus was that new surfaces for the field and track would greatly benefit the teams, students and community. Construction began in June and is nearing completion. One look at the upgraded Lions Stadium and you can’t help but be inspired – Roll Pride!
