La Feria Beats Rivera 55 -7 for fifth season win

The La Feria football team keep scoring points and winning games.
The Lions have won their fifth consecutive non-conference game by defeating the Rivera Raiders during Thursday’s Sept. 26 game.
The final score was 55-7
The Lions scored 14 points in the first quarter, 17 points in the second, 14 points in third and 10 points in the fourth.
The Raiders scored only 7 points in the fourth quarter.
The Lions were scheduled to play the Rio Hondo Bobcats in a sixth non-conference game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at press time.
The Lions went into the game with a 5-0 standing.
