Lions Tennis Team Rules Court in Recent Tourney

The La Feria tennis team recently had a strong showing at a varsity tournament at the Brownsville Tennis Center. In girls singles, Melissa Pizana took home the gold, while Damien Cantu and Eduardo Anell placed third in boys doubles. In mixed doubles, Azrael Gamboa and Marlene Gutierrez also took home bronze in mixed doubles.
Also in boys doubles, Christian Cruz and Ythan Castillo won the consolation championship.
David Gomez and Marissa Pizana also won the consolation championship in mixed doubles.
