Talk a little bit about what it’s been like having to endure this break.
This break has definitely been pretty hard, not being able to go back to school and have our daily routines. But it has been a big eye opener and it gives you the time to focus on yourself and where you want to be.
Now that the entire season was cancelled, how does that make you feel?
I’m definitely sad about it. It was my last season and the girls and I were planning on going back to regionals again this year. I don’t think any of us thought that our last tournament would be our last time playing for our high school career.
Have you learned anything from having to deal with this unprecedented experience?
I’ve learned that you can’t take anything for granted because at any time it can be taken away from you. It’s important to appreciate and enjoy everything you do and really give it your all.
