The Lipes take over as new managers of local RV park

LA FERIA – One of the more well- known RV parks in town is now under new management.

Kevin and Mary Lipe took over as managers of VIP-La Feria RV Park last month after hearing that the prior managers had retired earlier this year.
Kevin and Mary have been married for 24 years and have a dog named Jinx. They first moved to the park back in October 2019, and fell in love with the park and surrounding area.

Mary mentioned that she was working for the Bottle Shop here in La Feria prior to applying for the management position at the park. Mary said that she and her husband can’t wait to meet more of the other managers of local businesses here in town.

Mary also said that the ladies in the park’s craft house have been busy organizing charitable causes for the community. Some of the things they have done are crocheting shawls and wheelchair lap blankets for the adult daycare facilities. They also crochet hats and blankets for the orphanage so that they have a keepsake blanket to take with them when they get adopted.

The park also holds food drives to give to the community and also donate every year to the local fire department. They work on crafts throughout the year so when park visitors return in the fall they help to give out the charitable donations.
